FAN CODE OF CONDUCT

code of conduct star wars star wars celebration star wars fans May 13, 2020

We hold our show to a very high standard and work extremely hard to make sure we provide a fun, safe and inclusive space for all fans. Additionally, Star Wars Celebration holds its fans to a code of conduct that ensures all fans have a great time and feel comfortable at the show. Please read and follow these quick guidelines before we get together this September.

  1. You must wear your badge at all times (and around your neck) while at Star Wars Celebration.
  2. Be nice and have fun! All of your fellow Star Wars Celebration fans are there to have a good time, so be nice, make a new best friend, give a free hug (with permission) and have a great time! Any behavior that's offensive in public should be kept out of Star Wars Celebration and in the privacy of your own home.
  3. We don’t want anyone to trip and get hurt from stumbling over your outstretched feet, so grab a chair instead of plopping down in the middle of the floor to rest.
  4. We know there are some really awesome cosplayers at the show, but please be courteous of the people around you. Make sure you are not blocking walkways and other areas when you are snapping pics of that awesome group of Stormtroopers. Remember, you should always ask a cosplayer before taking pictures of them!
  5. Star Wars Celebration Staff and Security have the right to ask you to leave Star Wars Celebration and refuse to refund the cost of your ticket if you are behaving in an inappropriate fashion or seen with a counterfeit ticket.
  6. Naked is not a costume. Please wear appropriate (or at least enough) clothing while attending Star Wars Celebration.
  7. Please abide by our weapons policy. In the harsh reality of our times, our security staff and local law enforcement officials will treat anything that looks like a real gun as a real gun.
  8.     While we don’t want anyone to lose anything, Star Wars Celebration is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property, or for injuries sustained during the course of Star Wars Celebration.
  9. Please do not abuse the convention facilities. This includes putting signs on walls or trash anywhere other than a garbage can, smoking in non-designated smoking areas and a variety of other uncool things. We should all should respect the space.
  10. Announced events and guests are subject to change and/or cancel without notice. Every effort will be made to announce any changes on the Star Wars Celebration website, Official Mobile App and social media channels, but sometimes last-minute changes will occur.
  11. In exchange for the opportunity to register and attend Star Wars Celebration, I hereby grant permission to Reed Exhibitions (a division of RELX Inc.), its employees and agents, to take, use and publish visual/audio/images of me at Star Wars Celebration, and I hereby waive any claim to compensation for use of such visual/audio/images. Visual/audio/images are any type of recording, including photographs, digital images, drawings, renderings, voices, sounds, video recordings, audio clips or accompanying written descriptions. I agree that Reed Exhibitions owns the images and all rights related to them. The images may be used by Reed Exhibitions in any manner or media without notifying me, such as the Star Wars Celebration website, publications, promotions, broadcasts, advertisements, and posters, for advertising or other related purposes. I waive any right to inspect or approve the finished images or any printed or electronic matter that may be used with them.
